Pierre Omer's Swing Revue
Geneva based musician Pierre Omer has been active on the swiss and european scene since the mid 90's. As multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter and producer he has been involved in many bands and projects both in the music and in the theater worlds. In 1997 he started the Dead Brothers together with singer Alain Croubalian, touring extensively and recording four albums until leaving the band in 2007. Noticed for his soft and deep voice he has been teaming up and leading different sets of musicians from duo's to big bands, exploring different genres rooted in european and american popular music such as blues, swing, folk, surf, garage and cinematic music. Since 2013 he has been active with his band Pierre Omer's Swing Revue, reinventing and blending blues, swing, easy listening, garage, exotica, experimental music and film noir in an energetic and joyfull cocktail of sounds and fantasy. Occasionally he works as a producer and has worked on Voodoo Rhythm's Mama Rosin's first album. As a gifted melodist he regularly works as a composer for theater plays, collaborating with many directors both in Geneva and in the german part of Switzerland, participating in over fourty productions as a live musician or recording soundtracks as a sound designer.
