Der Hamburger Musiker Konstantin Unwohl, bekannt geworden durch den Underground Hit „Mein Verstand“ und das auf dem Debüt vertretene „Amarillo“, wagt auf seinem neuen Album den Sprung in noch getriebenere Gewässer. Wo kurzweilige Befriedigung im ewigen Kampf mit nagenden Zweifeln den Alltag begleiten, wo die Sonne spottend auf das gesenkte Haupt scheint und wo der letzte Drink immer einer zu viel ist - dort bewegt sich der neue Unwohl auf „Neuer Wall“ und überzeugt mit kraftvollen, aber unvorhersehbaren Drummachine-Rhythmen, Genrevermischungen im Stil der frühen Yello Alben und der skeptischen Positionierung des Sängers gegenüber einer immer extremer werdenden Außen- und Innenwelt und vereint so sowohl nostalgische Momente, als auch einen modernen Zeitgeist. Emerging from the depths of Berlin’s underground scene, Cosey Mueller is a solo musician and artist who explores electronic sounds in the most intuitive way, never forgetting her love for rock ‘n’ roll. After finishing her studies in fine art at Udk Berlin in 2018 she started her musical career with the projects ‘DAS DAS’ and ‘Glaas’.
She established herself as a solo musician by releasing her debut album ,Interior Escapes, in 2021 followed by a second release ‚Irrational Habits‘ in 2023. Her latest Album ‘Softcore’ is being released on 03. October 2024 with the Label Static Age Musik. Her music is characterised by repetitive synth melodies, explosive beats, expressive vocals and a playful use of language. It makes you travel to another time, not making sure if that time ever existed.
