Okay, let’s start with the singer and songwriter of the band who’s called Sopo Batilashvili and the band’s name is SOPO. Is she a bit egocentric? maybe. Anyways, the band SOPO was formed in 2023 when the bass player and producer Alex Berdz and Sopo Batilashvili were maybe sitting and thinking about creating music without any compromises,music that they really love which has an absolute alternative vibe. Alex called to his old friend Zura Kiknadze, guitar player, who immediately said yes to be in a band with them and introduced Gigi Koberidze, drummer to them. They played together in February 2023 for the first time and something clicked,it felt like they found each other,or it might be just some cheesy gibberish that Alex said. SOPO started working on a debut album ‘Game Over’ when they decided to add another guitar player Tornike Gagoshvili to the band who made it all complete. It is what it is, what’s done is done.
