Kann ich bei der Stubnitz Parken? Is there visitor parking at Stubnitz?
Es gibt leider keine Parkplätze für Besucher*innen. Unfortunately, there is no reserved parking for visitors.
Ist die Stubnitz Barrierefrei? Is the Stubnitz wheelchair accessible?
Die Stubnitz ist nicht nur ein Veranstaltungsort, sondern auch ein hochseetaugliches Industriedenkmal. Das Schiff, Baujahr 1964, wird über Gangways betreten, es gibt viele Stufen und einige Stolperfallen. Leider sind wir nicht rollstuhlgerecht. Built in 1964, the ship is accessed via gangways; there are many steps and a few trip hazards. Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible. Was sind die Öffnungszeiten? What are opening hours?
Die Bar hat nur bei Veranstaltungen geöffnet. Alle Infos und Termine findest du im Kalender auf der Webseite. Am besten, du meldest dich für den monatlichen Newsletter The bar is only open during events. You can find all the details and events in the calendar on the website. We recommend signing up for the monthly newsletter.
Kann ich mit Karte zahlen? Can I pay cashless / do you accept card payment?
Ja, an Bord der Stubnitz hast du die Möglichkeit alles cashless mit Karte zu zahlen. Yes, on board the Stubnitz we accept cashless / card payment.
Veranstaltungen Events
Darf auf der Stubnitz geraucht werden? Is smoking allowed on board the Stubnitz?
Ja, an Deck und im Freien ist rauchen und vapen erlaubt, in den Veranstaltungsräumen gilt ein Rauchverbot. Yes, smoking and vaping is allowed on the outside deck. Smoking is not permitted inside the event space.
Gibt es eine Altersbeschränkung? Is there an age restriction?
Für Konzerte gilt: unter 16 Jahren nur in Begleitung einer
erziehungsberechtigten Person, ab 16 Jahren ist der Besuch
von Konzerten bis 24 Uhr ohne Begleitung möglich.
Bei Partys gilt: Ausnahmslos ab 18 Jahren.
Erziehungsbeauftragungen (sogenannte Muttizettel) werden
nicht akzeptiert. Ansonsten gilt das Jugendschutzgesetz.
The following applies to concerts: under-16s must be
accompanied by a parent or guardian; those aged 16 and over
may attend concerts unaccompanied until midnight.
The following applies to clubbing / party events: visitors
must be 18 years of age and over, without exception.
Parental consent waivers (so-called ‘Muttizettel’) will not
be accepted. Apart from this, the federal Youth Protection
Act applies.
Wie schaut es mit der Garderobe und dem Einlass aus? What about the coat check and entry?
Bei gut besuchten Veranstaltungen gibt es meistens eine bewachte Garderobe (2€). Falls nicht, gibt es die Möglichkeiten Jacken an der unbeaufsichtigten Selbstbedienungsgarderobe zu verstauen. Bei größeren Veranstaltungen werden am Einlass Taschen kontrolliert. Wir bitten euch, Getränke, Edding-Stifte, Konfetti, Glasflaschen, sonstige Flüssigkeiten und Drogen zuhause zu lassen. At well-attended events, there is usually a staffed coat check (€2). If not, you can leave your coats in the unattended self-service coat check. At larger events, bags are checked at the entrance. Please leave drinks, permanent markers, confetti, glass bottles, other liquids and drugs at home.
Wird Nebel und Strobo eingesetzt? Do you use fog and strobe lights?
Für die künstlerische Bühnenperformance verwenden wir bei unseren Veranstaltungen regelmäßig Stroboskop und Nebel. We regularly use strobe lights and fog for the artistic stage performances at our events.
Wie laut ist es? How loud is it?
Es wird immer auf das Wohlergehen unserer Gäste geachtet. Weil hier oft laute Bands spielen, gibt es für den Fall, dass es doch mal zu laut sein sollte, kostenlosen Gehörschutz an der Bar. We always prioritize the well-being of our guests. As we often have loud bands playing here, free earplugs are available at the bar in case it does get too loud.
Ich habe etwas verloren, was jetzt? I’ve lost something – what should I do?
Schreib eine Mail an mit einer Beschreibung des Gegenstands. Fundstücke werden 4 Wochen aufbewahrt, danach müssen sie das Schiff jedoch verlassen. Send an email to lost@stubnitz.com with a description of the item. Lost property is stored for 4 weeks, after which it must be removed from the ship.
Ticketing
Abgesagtes oder verschobenes Konzert - Was passiert mit meinem Ticket? Cancelled or postponed concert – what happens to my ticket?
Bei Nachholterminen behalten Tickets ihre Gültigkeit, sofern nicht anders angekündigt. Bei kompletter Absage könnt ihr das Ticket zurückgeben. Hier bekommt ihr dann alle Informationen per Mail. Tickets remain valid for rescheduled dates, unless otherwise announced. If the event is cancelled entirely, you can return your ticket. You will then receive all the relevant information via email.
Ich habe ein Ticket gekauft, bin jetzt aber verhindert? I’ve bought a ticket but am now unable to attend?
Laut den Nutzungsbedingungen unseres Ticketshops ist eine Rückgabe oder Stornierung nicht vorgesehen. Das ist bei allen anderen Ticketanbietern auch der Fall According to the terms and conditions of our ticket shop, refunds or cancellations are not permitted. This is the same with all other ticket providers.
Kann ich einen Gutschein kaufen? Can I buy gift vouchers?
Nein, wir können aktuell keine Gutscheine anbieten. No, we are currently unable to offer vouchers.

Events sollen Spaß für alle bedeuten. Wir bitten euch daher, auf die Grenzen der anderen Menschen zu achten. Frage nach, ob die Person gegenüber mit dir sprechen oder interagieren möchte und respektiere, wenn sie das nicht möchte. Events are meant to be fun for everyone. We therefore ask you to be mindful of other people’s boundaries. Ask the person you’re talking to if they’d like to chat or interact with you and respect their decision if they’d rather not.

Achte auf dich und auf andere. Wenn du dich bedroht, belästigt oder unwohl fühlst, dann melde dich an der Bar oder am Einlass. Wenn du siehst, dass eine andere Person Hilfe braucht: frage bei der betroffenen Person nach und gib uns Bescheid. Look after yourself and others. If you feel threatened, harassed or uncomfortable, please speak to staff at the bar or at the entrance. If you see someone else who needs help, check that they are OK and let us know.

Transgender and non-binary people have the right to use the toilet of their choice. Do not stare at anyone and respect other people’s privacy.

Als schwimmendes Industriedenkmal müssen Tags und Sticker mit mühsamer Handarbeit entfernt werden. Bitte nimm Rücksicht auf diesen besonderen Ort, das bedeutet auch: Du kannst nicht ins Wasser springen, auf den Mast klettern oder in den Maschinenraum einsteigen. Falls du Interesse an dem Schiff hast, schau doch bei einer Führung z.B.: an den Denkmaltagen vorbei. Informationen dazu bekommst du auch im Newsletter. As a seaworthy industrial monument, we have to remove any tags and stickers manually and thoroughly, which is time-consuming work. Please respect this special place, which also means: you must not jump into the water, climb the mast or enter the engine room. If you’re interested in the ship, why not join a guided tour, for example during the ‘Tag des offenen Denkmals’ (heritage / open monument day)? You can find information on this in the newsletter.

Fährt die Stubnitz? Does the Stubnitz sail?
Ja, sie fährt. Sie ist ein hochseetaugliches Industriedenkmal, dass macht sie so besonders und einzigartig. Jedoch legt sie nicht bei Veranstaltungen und im täglichen Betrieb ab, denn eine Ausfahrt bedeutet einen sehr hohen finanziellen und personellen Kraftakt. Yes, she does sail. She is an industrial heritage ship fit for the open sea, which is what makes her so special and unique. However, she does not set sail for events or as part of day-to-day operations, as a voyage requires a huge financial and crew investment.
Wie organisiert und finanziert sich das Projekt Kultur.Raumschiff Stubnitz? How is the culture ship Stubnitz project organized and funded?
Der gemeinnützige Verein Motorschiff Stubnitz e.V. betreibt das Schiff. Der Kulturverein versucht mit den Veranstaltungen das Industriedenkmal und hochseetaugliches Schiff zu finanzieren und den Ort für alternative Musik- und Performancekultur am Leben zu erhalten. Der finanzielle Druck ist unglaublich groß und sehr real. Es tut uns leid, dass wir nicht allen guten Bands und Projekten da draußen eine Chance bieten können. Wir müssen unsere Ressourcen genau kalkulieren: In Bezug auf Personal/Crew, Inhalte und Finanzen. Neben Musikkultur, Auftritten und anderen Veranstaltungen kümmern wir uns auch selbst um die Instandhaltung des seetüchtigen und soziokulturellen Schiffes Stubnitz. Daher ist das Projekt auf Spenden und Zuwendungen angewiesen. Öffentliche Gelder fließen aktuell leider nur in einzelnen Projektphasen. Die Stubnitz ist auf der Suche nach regelmäßigen Zuwendungen und Sponsoring von Stiftungen und Geldgeber*innen. Schon 350.000€ im Jahr würden die Stubnitz in die Lage versetzen, proaktiv Zukunft zu gestalten und ungeahnte Potenziale zu entfalten. Das Projekt versteht sich als partizipativ und soziokulturell. Der Ort lebt vom Mitmachen und vom Antrieb der Crew. Hier erfährst Du mehr über die Geschichte des Projekts. The non-profit association Motorschiff Stubnitz e.V. runs the ship. Through its events, the cultural association aims to fund this industrial monument and seagoing vessel, and to keep the venue alive as a hub for alternative music and performance culture. The financial pressure is incredibly intense and very real. We are sorry that we cannot offer a chance to all the good bands and projects out there. We have to calculate our resources carefully: in terms of staff/crew, content and finances. In addition to music culture, performances and other events, we also take care of the maintenance of the seaworthy and socio-cultural vessel Stubnitz ourselves. The project therefore relies on donations and grants. Unfortunately, public funding is currently only available for individual project phases. The Stubnitz is seeking regular grants and sponsorship from foundations and donors. As little as €350,000 a year would enable the Stubnitz to proactively shape the future and unlock untapped potential. The project sees itself as participatory and socio-cultural.
