SOULSPLITTER

Soulsplitter is a Progressive Music Project from Germany. Centered around a five-piece Rock/Metal band, they are dedicated to the creation of original and thematically relevant art amidst the digital revolution.

Their first album, Salutogenesis (2019), received immense critical acclaim with its eclectic blend of 70's Progressive Rock, classical music, modern Metal, Fusion Jazz and Rock Opera. While on their way to cement their reputation as a live act as well, the world had different plans – and so they went back into the studio to create their second effort, Connection (2022). Building on their experiences and with a new line-up, they dove deeper into a specific aspect of their signature sound where heavy guitars and intricate rhythms meet with lyrical strings and classical piano in prominent roles. Now it's finally time to show the world that they can add a whole new layer of immersion, intensity and inspiration through their live performances. Be part of something magical!

OPHELIA SULLIVAN

Ophelia Sullivan is a composer, producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Leipzig. Previously known for their work in electronic and experimental music, Ophelia's new solo project is located at the intersection of electronic music, band music and orchestral music. Its stylistic components include Post-Progressive, Trip Hop, Electronica, Avantgarde Pop and Post-Rock. Ophelia's music is never confined to a single genre, instead juxtaposing and merging different styles.

For the 2023 debut album "Disposable Identity" they collaborated with a long list of talented guest instrumentalists and recorded string arrangements with a small orchestra. Contrast is at the heart of the album - light and dark, hard and soft, restless and hypnotic. Lyrically, it is an extremely personal journey through Ophelia Sullivan's biography and deals with themes of mental health, otherness, sexuality and vulnerability through a decidedly queer lense. For their first live shows with the new project, Ophelia will be accompanied by an all FLINTA* live band and elaborate video projections.

JON DARC

Johannes Frick aka Jon Darc is an electronic musician, filmmaker, performer and artist holding a BA in drama and a MA in popular music. They merge different genres of art creating trans media concert performance experiences.

Jon Darc creates an emotive musical universe inspired by Björk’s free creativity, Arca’s performance art based shows, Woodkid’s rampant sadness, FKA Twigs’ sad sexiness, Sega Bodega’s mystical gloom, SOPHIE's shy loudness, Dorian Electra’s camp glamour and Lady Gaga’s extravagant sense of pop culture.

Love and loss, the club, social criticism and LGBTQIA+ topics merge in their songs spreading a dark spirit of desire, equality and deliverance. Their shows intertwine diverse art genres to create transmedial performances uniting avant-garde fashion, design and visuals for a hot and juicy concert experience.

VYKS

She’s telling the story of a spirit - daughter of the moon and sister of the stars.

Merging disturbing yet beautifully moving forces and a fragile but nonetheless remarkably intense and emotionally impelling vocal performance, VYKS is riding between the frayed lines of avant-garde pop, progressive electronica, heavy baroque and trip-hop, knowing exactly what she wants to show and what shall remain hidden.

With her debut “lumière” she’s altering reality to fit the scenery she creates using immersive soundscapes and unsettling sketches of light and shadow, transporting your imagination to darkly wrought places you didn’t know existed in your mind. Amidst this tale of devotion, agony and fate you can almost feel spirits emanating out of wind up music boxes among obscure lighthouses resonating with meaning and faith, periodically illuminating overcast skies.
