SHADOW WORK from Denver, Colorado, is a dark indie, psych-rock trio. Their pastel, dreamy guitar textures, labyrinthic bass tapping riffs, and agitated jazz grooves create the framework for a tortured, soulful narrative. Based out of Denver, their live shows emit an explosive passion for musical experimentation: Intricate time signatures intermingle with progressive compositions, flowing from haunting and delicate to fervent and powerful. Wenn die Nasty Neighbours eines lieben, dann ist es Retro-Horror. Das neue Album ist der Soundtrack dafür: ein ungezähmter Mix aus Surf, Glam, Rotz und einer Prise Wahnsinn. Es klingt, als hätten The Buzzcocks und die B-52s eine Geisterbeschwörung veranstaltet – und dann spukte dieser Sound durch das Studio von Bandgründern eMon (Gitarrist/Argentinien) und Karina Kaos (Vocals und Keyboard/ Deutschland). Mit Surf-Vibes und spooky Melodien sowie einer gehörigen Portion ironischem Horror-Charme haben die Nasty Neighbours ein Album geschaffen, das zwischen B-Movie- Ästhetik, Pop-Punk und Indie-Rock hin- und herflackert. Als die Nasty Neighbours ihr erstes Album herausbrachten („Nastysimo!“/V.Ö. 14.6.2024), musste die Apotheke im Viertel ständig Ohrstöpsel nachbestellen.
