For 33 years, the Ship of Fools was a platform for theater, opera and artistic performances on the North Sea, the Baltic Sea and the Mediterranean. Although there were hundreds of performances throughout Europe, even the everyday life of the crew was a performance itself. The world is a stage and the show never stops. This documentary follows the roots and evolution of the ship with its ever-changing crew up to the end and its reincarabtion in Ecuador. We’re super excited to share this film about another ship that turned steel and madness into a stage for culture. And even better: August, captain of the Azart, will be with us at the screening.
