Hæresis
German black metal act HÆRESIS is devoted to balancing ethereal atmospheres and raw energy into a blend that is unparalleled. An enduring expression of existential turmoil, profound discontent and ferocious power forms the foundation for the cathartic act of deliverance that HÆRESIS embodies. Above all, the band is well known for their immersive live shows, which are characterized by the intense fusion of light and an unrelenting assault of sound. Following the release of their debut demo "Hæresis" (2016), and subsequent projects including the EP "To Drown..." (2020) and the split release "Z3/12" (2021), HÆRESIS is set to unveil their debut full-length album, "Si Vis Pacem Para Bellu,," in October 2025. This album represents the culmination of three intense years of songwriting and production, offering an intense dissonance experience that reflects their uncompromising live atmosphere and sound. Haeresis is a testament to the unwavering power of black metal and a vigorous statement of will.
Tristis
Tristis is a relatively new extreme metal band from Germany’s Ruhr region, delivering a deeply emotional blend of post-hardcore, blackened extreme metal, and touches of doom. Their latest EP is titled “Des Strebens Einzelner.” Thematically, it continues the narrative of their previous EP “Das Schweigen Vieler.” The new EP feels rougher and more uncompromising, while at the same time showing a greater openness toward its own sensitive side
Dystyches
Hamburg-based Dystyches crafts an atmospheric and emotionally charged soundscape somewhere between post-black metal and screamo. Following this year's EP release "Scherbenschauer", the band continues their journey, telling their story through dynamic guitars and driving drums. Combined with lyrics about grief, anger and world-weariness they create a seething melancholy -a soundscape of deep shadows where, upon closer gaze, a solitary spark of light still flickers.
