Sponsoring und Projektförderung Sponsorship and Project Funding

Öffentliche Gelder fließen leider nur in einzelnen Projektphasen. Daher ist die Stubnitz auf der Suche nach regelmäßigen, auch größeren Zuwendungen und Sponsoring von Stiftungen und Geldgeber*innen. Unfortunately, public funding is only available for individual project phases. The cultural association is trying to finance the industrial monument through its activities, but this is by no means possible through its cultural program alone. The Stubnitz therefore has to rely on donations and grants and is seeking regular, even substantial, grants and sponsorship from foundations and donors.

Konkret würden durchschnittlich ca. 350.000€ im Jahr die Stubnitz in die Lage versetzen Zukunft zu gestalten und Potenziale zu entfalten. Ein Schiff zu unterhalten ist komplex und eine kleinteilige, intensive Daueraufgabe. Im Folgenden seht ihr eine Auflistung unserer regelmäßigen Kosten, die von uns für den Klassenerhalt (Schiffs-TÜV) aufgebracht werden müssen. Specifically, we are seeking approximately €350,000 in grants per year; this would enable Stubnitz to proactively shape the future and unlock untapped potential. Maintaining a ship is a complex, detailed, and ongoing task. Below you’ll find a list of our recurring expenses that we need to cover to maintain the ship's classification (ship inspection).

Laufende Kosten Ongoing expenses

Um die Stubnitz seetüchtig, sicher und in der Klassifikation zu halten, bedarf es in verschiedenen Zyklen bestimmte Prüfungen der Klassifikationgesellschaft: To keep the Stubnitz seaworthy, safe, and in compliance with classification requirements, certain inspections of the following must be conducted at various intervals by the classification society:

• 2,5 Vollzeitäquivalent-Stellen in der Maschine & Instandhaltung (jährlich)
  
  140.000€
  Mit diesen Anstellungen könnten wir das Schiff kontinuierlich und nachhaltig warten sowie die Wissensweitergabe perspektivisch sicherstellen.
• Baumaterialien / Ersatzteile / Reparaturen (jährlich)
  
  40.000€
  Mit unserem Netzwerk können wir die meisten Arbeiten in Eigenregie durchführen. Aber auch hierfür braucht es Anschaffungen und zum Teil auch Spezialanfertigungen. Für besonders knifflige Projekte sind wir auf Firmen angewiesen, die dafür bezahlt werden möchten.

• 2,5 Full-time-equivalent positions in Machinery & Maintenance (annual)
  
  €140.000
  With these positions, we can maintain the ship continuously and sustainably and ensure the long-term transfer of knowledge.
• Construction materials / replacement parts / repairs (annual)
  
  €40.000
  Thanks to our network, we can carry out most of the work ourselves. However, this still requires purchases and, in some cases, custom-made parts. For particularly challenging projects, we rely on companies that expect to be paid for their services.

Für den Klassenerhalt (Schiffs TÜV) Maintaining our classification (Ship Classification Society)

• Jährliche Klassebesichtigung
  
  15.000€
  Hier geht es um die Prüfung und Zertifizierung der Grundsysteme: Maschine, Brandschutz, Navigation, Kommunikation und Sicherheitsausrüstung.
• Zwischenbesichtigung (alle 2,5 Jahre zwischen der Klasseerneuerung)
  
  35.000€
  Neben den oben genannten Posten der jährlichen Klassebesichtigung kommt zusätzlich die Inspektion des Unterwasserschiffes durch Taucher*innen dazu.
• Die Klasseerneuerung (alle 5 Jahre)
  
  750.000€
  Dieser Posten beinhaltet einen Werftaufenthalt im Dock, Unterwasserschiff-Inspektion, Reinigung und neuer Anstrich der Außenhaut, sowie ggf. Austausch von zu dünnen Stahlplatten, Inspektion und Revision aller Maschinen, Hilfssysteme sowie Außenbordventile, Besichtigen und Konservieren von Tanks, Ruder und Welle begutachten.

• Annual Survey
  
  €15.000
  This involves the inspection and certification of the basic systems: engine, fire protection, navigation, communications, and safety equipment.
• Interim Survey (every 2.5 years between class renewals)
  
  €35.000
  In addition to the items listed above for the annual class survey, divers also inspect the hull below the waterline.
• Renewal Survey (every 5 years)
  
  €750.000
  This includes a stay in dry dock, at the shipyard, an underwater hull inspection, cleaning and repainting of the hull, as well as, if necessary, replacement of steel plates that are too thin, inspection and overhaul of all machinery, auxiliary systems, and outboard valves (seacocks), and inspection and preservation of tanks, the rudder, and the propeller shaft

Hier arbeiten wir aktuell daran, weitere Projekte – außerhalb der Klasse – zu veröffentlichen, die uns relevant voranbringen würden. In Kürze gibt es hier also noch mehr zu entdecken. We’re currently working on making additional projects known to the public—outside the maintenance and renewal of classification—that would help us make meaningful progress.
